Middleton Old Cemetery - Section O

Section O lies to the East of the cemetery. Enter through the main entrance and bear left onto the tarmac path. Where the path turns right, the grave in front and to your right is P1. Turn right and count 20 graves (now to your left) this is grave O1. The numbers increase to O18 along the top row.

Layout and Numbering

Grave O1 is to the North with O2 immediately South of that, so on each row the lower numbers are to the North.

On the top (Tarmac) path, there is no physical division between Sections P and O or between Section O and N. On the middle pathway there are small steps to the upper section at the dividing line.

On the plan below, Green indicates a used plot. Red is unused and Yellow are additional graves not on the original plan. For the yellow graves, I have had to use a best estimate as to the actual location.

Grave O193A is shown in the Burial Register, the location of this grave has not yet been ascertained.
