M24 Burials
Section A lies to the North-West of the cemetery. Enter through the main entrance and bear right onto the tarmac path. to your right you will see a row of graves that are orientated North/South. The first grave after this row is A291. The numbers reduce towards the wall. If you continue to the corner of the path, to your right is A157 and in front of you is A133. Section A continues for a further 9 graves to the South (A140B). Two additional graves were added to the top row (A140B & A140B. These were on the original path between Section A & B and this division is now unmarked.
Due to a steep drop in the land, graves A94 to A103 were unusable, but a number of additional plots were inserted. The additional plots are numbered with the adjacent grave number and a letter suffix
Grave A1 is to the West with A2 immediately South of that, so on each row the lower numbers are to the North.
On the plan below, Green indicates a used plot. Red is unused and Yellow are additional graves not on the original plan. For the yellow graves, I have had to use a best estimate as to the actual location.
