
M24 Burials
Section K lies to the South of the cemetery. Enter through the main entrance and bear right onto the tarmac path. Continue along this path until you reach a "Crossroad". Turn left and count 25 plots on your right. This will be K9X.
Due to additional plots being made in Section J it can be difficult to find the beginning of Section K. When approaching from the East, grave K9 is a large square monolith of the Hulbert family (Pictured Left).
Note that there is no physical division between Section J&K nor between Sections K&L.
Grave K1 is to the is in the centre of the top row of the section, however to the east are additional plots still in Section K. The low numbers on each row are to the East.
The original plan shows graves beyond the lower path. Following a collapse of the South Wall in 1886 these plots were not used.
On the plan below, Green indicates a used plot. Red is unused and Yellow are additional graves not on the original plan. For the yellow graves, I have had to use a best estimate as to the actual location.
